Our purpose
Axis Ring is helping create a world where people can make meaningful decisions based on the merit of what is possible rather than being constrained by a lack of resources.
Axis Ring exists to mobilize resources, relationships, and collective wisdom in service of people, communities, and planet — cultivating resilience, building lasting capacity, and creating significance that regenerates for generations.
Our current focus
Abak, Akwa Ibom State, Nigeria
Project Green Harvest is Axis Ring Nigeria’s plan for a one-hectare crop-and-poultry farm. It will begin with chickens raised for meat and up to two crops chosen for local growing conditions and buyer demand.
The vision is a digitally managed farm that combines reliable food production with its own power, intelligent watering and visible oversight of the resources entrusted to it.
The concept we aim to build
Proposed We World Energy hydro power units would supply on-site electricity for irrigation, farm operations and equipment. The goal is a self-sustaining power supply, with equipment suitability and performance to be confirmed during planning.
AI-assisted irrigation would use soil-moisture sensors, weather conditions and each crop’s growth stage to adjust when and how much water each growing zone receives, with the farm team overseeing decisions.
Planned surveillance cameras and remote monitoring would help the team oversee crops, equipment and infrastructure, supporting accountability and a clearer view of the farm’s progress.
We are raising support to acquire the land and establish the farm. As work progresses, real photographs and updates will document the people involved, land acquisition, soil testing, planning, planting and construction of equipment housing and agricultural infrastructure.
